Board up in Mt. Iron after fire

Fortunately, no one was home when the fire took place, and no one got hurt. Unfortunate that the home was a total loss. SERVPRO was called to do an emergency board up to prevent further damages and to protect from vandals or critters getting inside.
What not to do after the fire is out
- Don’t enter your home until you have been given permission that it is safe
- Don’t turn on gas, water or electricity until a professional has deemed it safe to do so
- Don’t try to clean the soot damage or smoke damage yourself
