Be prepared for strong winds and tornadoes by determining a safe room in your home to take shelter. Stay away from windows due to flying debris or uprooted trees. One safe place could be in the basement if you have one or a walk-in closet. Under the basement stairway would be a great place to build a safe room. Stock a safe room with water, non-perishable foods, change of clothes, flashlights, blankets, towels, gloves, trash bags and tools. After the storm, check in with family members then grab your emergency contact list to call SERVPRO to help with damage clean up.
SERVPRO went to the site shown in the picture to clean up the damages from a tree landing on the roof during a storm with heavy winds. SERVPRO can help you too! We are always open.
